Use a drill for faster assembly

It runs a bit smaller than the photos suggest, but it still fits well where we put it. Using a power drill with a hex bit, it took roughly an hour and fifteen minutes to assemble, and I'd strongly recommend that route since doing it by hand would have taken forever. The included cover is a nice bonus too. We've only dealt with one heavy rain since setting it up and it held up fine, just remember to tuck it against something sturdy so it doesn't blow away. Ask us again in a year to see how it's really holding up.

A power tool makes assembly much easier

If you're planning on using the included hex key to tighten around sixty bolts, brace yourself. The end result came out fine, but I held back on a perfect rating mainly because the footrest cushions just sit loose on top with nothing to strap them down. It may also have shipped in two separate parts, which the packaging mentioned, though I didn't catch it until I tracked down the delivery driver thinking a box had gone missing.

Really nice patio set

This has become a great addition to our patio. We use it a lot for outdoor meals so the kids can eat without making a mess inside. Cleanup is simple, just spray it down with a hose. Assembling it by myself was a bit tough, but having my husband help made it easy, and the instructions do mention it's meant for two people. It handles rain fairly well, though it will soak up water after several straight days of it. There's a cover included that we haven't gotten around to using yet.

Very happy with this patio set

This patio set is such a good deal for what you get. We actually like it more than a five hundred dollar set at a local store that costs four times as much. The instructions claim ninety minutes for two adults to assemble. In reality, my eighty three year old parents spent over five hours on it using the metric hex key that came with it. I'd suggest grabbing a ball end hex screwdriver instead, it makes the job much easier.
