Good design, disappointing rust

I've assembled over 50 flat pack furniture items, indoor and outdoor, and this lounge chair was a challenge. At the very end you have to press cover caps over all the exposed nuts. Hammering and other tricks failed, so I finally warmed each cap briefly with a butane torch until it softened and slipped on. I'm very satisfied with the end result, and I added a full length body cushion. I wheel it into a sunny spot around 11 AM for 20 minutes of sunbathing, 10 minutes per side, then roll it under the covered patio. Because of obvious rust risk, I wouldn't leave it out in the rain, which should be common sense.

Solid not great, needs improvements

Two problems. First, the fabric is weak and stretched after a single sitting. A bar sits just under the seat fabric and is uncomfortable, and it will get worse as the fabric stretches, with a similar bar across the low back. I see this with fabric furniture generally and tried to avoid it, but the photos didn't let me tell for these recliners. Second, the plastic wheels on the brown recliner are black, which looks cheap and mismatched. The photos suggest the frame is black on the brown version, but it's actually dark brown, and the fabric is plain tan rather than multi toned brown like the chairs. I bought the matching chairs and recliners from the same maker and the colors are nothing alike, so I'm not satisfied as a set.

Getting it together was the hard part

We bought two to replace our old chaise lounges. They came quickly and well packaged, look nice once built, and roll easily on the wheels. The instructions are mostly drawings I found hard to follow, and the written part is two lines, basically "install screws, don't fully tighten" and then "tighten all screws." The first one took my husband and me about an hour and a half, including mistakes and redoing some parts. The second took about half an hour since we knew the drill.
