XVX S-Shaped Bookcase — Five Display Cubbies, Two-Door Lower Cabinet and Soft-Close Door Hinges

Five staggered cubbies form the upper part of this S-shaped bookcase. The alternating openings create individual display spaces for books and decorative objects, instead of repeating a straight stack of full-width shelves.

A two-door cabinet occupies the lower section. It offers a distinct place for supplies that do not need to remain on display. Round handles open the doors, and soft-close hinges control their closing movement.

Melamine-surfaced particleboard panels form the storage structure. Anti-toppling devices are included for wall attachment; install them as directed rather than treating the freestanding format as a substitute for securing the unit.

Well built and easy to set up

Great purchase. Works wonderfully as a wall or bookcase cabinet. I like that the screws come already fitted with plastic anchors. It's noticeably sturdier than the typical flat pack furniture you'd find elsewhere. Very simple to install, and the door has that nice soft close feature.

Good-looking shelf with useful storage

I recently moved and can't put anything on the walls where I live now. This works great for small decor items and photos. Assembly took about two hours solo, would've definitely gone faster with a second person. It's nicely tall, I placed it by the entryway and its narrow profile fits the space perfectly. Not the most heavy duty shelving, but I'm not planning on storing anything heavy on it anyway. Works well for my needs.

Worked out really well

I was going for a specific look where you flip this bookcase style to mirror another one, but they don't come with a bottom cabinet option. Since I really wanted that cabinet feature, I modified the base of one bookcase myself to make the mirrored setup work. They turned out great in my opinion, really happy with the result! Just a heads up, I did have to alter the bottom of one unit to get the reversed pairing to work properly.
